Ashley Dingel gives brands language for who they already are.

She believes good creative work can (and should) help the little guys compete without sanding down what makes them different. That belief has drawn Ashley to small businesses, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations throughout her career.

Ashley brings a strategic eye and an artist’s instinct to branding. She finds the human truth inside complicated ideas, gives it a voice, and builds a world around it. Her background in Fine Arts and Studio Arts shapes the way she sees the whole picture: the strongest brands invite people into something meaningful and true.

She began as a Copywriter & Account Specialist at Rebellious PR before joining collaborative design studio Saint Friend as a Brand Writer. Since then, she’s helped growing organizations show up as their best selves and partnered with brands including Red Wing Heritage, Red Wing Work, and RE/MAX.

As Brand and Content Manager at Rational Unicorn, Ashley leads the firm’s voice, brand, and content strategy. She turns complexity into clarity and helps the firm show up with as much character and intention as the clients it serves.

Ashley lives in Detroit, where she shoots film, wanders the Detroit Institute of Arts, tends to a lot of plants, and seeks out excellent coffee and pastries. She has strong opinions about public transit and owns a sword.
