Heidi Shultz

Heidi Shultz has spent her career putting her voice to good use.

She began in social work, spending eight years in child welfare before joining the Peace Corps as a youth development volunteer in Peru. Different setting, same instinct. Heidi has always found herself in work where people need someone steady in their corner.

Heidi carried that instinct to law school and earned her JD from Willamette University College of Law. During that time, she received a pro bono award for her work as a sexual assault response advocate. Her career since has moved through public service, child advocacy, and nonprofit leadership. Years of working with families in crisis taught her to listen closely and meet people with care.

As Director of Operations at Rational Unicorn, Heidi keeps the firm moving and is often the first voice clients hear. She knows reaching out to a law firm can come with a lot of questions, so she makes sure people know they’ve landed somewhere they’ll be taken seriously. She loves meeting the folks who have decided their idea is worth betting on.

Heidi is a proud Oregonian who grew up on an island in the South Pacific and still feels most at home near the water. She loves a good road trip, an unfamiliar neighborhood, and a reason to dance.
